VIMF – VIETNAM INDUSTRIAL AND MANUFACTURING FAIR
The Vietnam Industrial & Manufacturing Fair (VIMF) is a manufacturing-focused exhibition held across major industrial cities and industrial parks in Vietnam. The fair follows a relay-style format, rotating between key manufacturing hubs in the northern and southern regions of the country.
VIMF has established a strong track record of successful events in Vietnam. In 2026, the exhibition was held in Hai Phong (April 15–17) and Binh Duong (June 17–19), with the next event scheduled for Bac Ninh from November 4–6, 2026, at the Kinh Bac Cultural Center.
The 2027 VIMF series will continue across three major manufacturing hubs:
- Hai Phong: April 21–23, 2027
- Binh Duong: June 16–18, 2027
- Bac Ninh: November 10–12, 2027
These events will be held at the Viet Tiep Cultural Palace in Hai Phong, WTC Expo in Binh Duong, and the Kinh Bac Cultural Center in Bac Ninh, respectively.
The exhibition aims to provide local manufacturers, particularly small and medium-sized enterprises that have yet to fully adopt automation and digitalization, with opportunities to discover solutions for improving operational efficiency and to establish new business connections through business matching.
Against the backdrop of Vietnam’s rapidly growing economy, young workforce, and relatively low labor costs, the country continues to attract attention as an appealing investment destination. As a result, VIMF has become an important platform for manufacturing, machinery, and industrial equipment companies from both Vietnam and overseas to explore business opportunities and expand their networks in the Vietnamese market.

2026 Results: VIMF Binh Duong 2026
VIMF Binh Duong 2026 was held from June 17–19, 2026, at WTC EXPO Binh Duong. The event brought together manufacturers, industrial technology providers, machinery and equipment suppliers, and industry professionals from Vietnam and overseas.
The 2026 edition recorded its largest-ever scale in Binh Duong, with 375 exhibitors occupying approximately 17,000 square meters of exhibition space. Among the exhibitors, 41 were Japanese companies, highlighting the strong interest of Japanese manufacturers in Vietnam’s southern industrial market. The exhibition attracted 20,429 visitors, surpassing the 18,739 visitors recorded in 2025.
VIMF was held alongside VIAF (Vietnam Industrial Automation Fiesta) and VMAT (Vietnam Material Handling Fiesta), bringing together a broad range of technologies and solutions related to industrial automation, robotics, material handling, machinery, metalworking, and smart manufacturing. This combination made VIMF Binh Duong 2026 an important platform for companies seeking to connect with Vietnam’s manufacturing industry and explore new business opportunities in the southern region.
2026 Results: VIMF Hai Phong 2026

Looking ahead to VIMF Bac Ninh 2026, approximately 50% of the exhibition spaces have already been reserved, highlighting the strong level of interest in the event. Companies considering exhibiting are encouraged to contact us early to secure their exhibition opportunities.
Exhibitor Feedback from VIMF 2025
VIMF is one of the largest industrial exhibitions held in northern Vietnam, attracting approximately 20,000 visitors and 370 exhibitors. Although the number of Japanese companies participating is still limited, at around 40, it is an important platform for Japanese brands to establish their presence in the Vietnamese market.
In recent years, many of our customers have been relocating their production bases from China to northern Vietnam, and we have seen a significant increase in demand for factory automation, particularly in Bac Ninh, where the exhibition is held.
Against this backdrop, we decided to exhibit at VIMF based on the accelerating relocation of production from China to northern Vietnam, the growing concentration of our target customers in the northern region, and the suitability of Bac Ninh as the exhibition location.

[Pre-Event Preparation]
During the preparation stage, although we ultimately decided not to adopt the proposal due to various circumstances, we were presented with a booth design perspective that was different from anything we had seen before.
For future events, we would appreciate more detailed information and preparation in advance to ensure smoother on-site operations, including enhanced simulations of each exhibition space, such as dimensions, the number of fixtures and equipment required, and other setup details.
[Impressions of the Exhibition]
In terms of visitor numbers, the actual flow of visitors varied somewhat more than we had initially expected. However, we were able to connect with visitors who closely matched our target audience.
That said, compared with exhibitions in other countries, we believe there is room for further strategic efforts to attract visitors with greater decision-making authority and purchasing influence.
Regarding the return on investment relative to the exhibition cost, the final assessment will depend on how many of the business opportunities generated at the event ultimately lead to contracts. At this stage, however, we consider the overall value to be reasonable.
For future editions, we would also welcome further optimization of the basic venue infrastructure, including booth locations, restroom facilities, visitor flow, and electrical wiring, to create a more efficient and comfortable exhibition environment.
THK
We were highly satisfied with the entire experience, from the preparation process leading up to the exhibition through to the event itself.
In particular, the pre-event guidance and preparation support gave us peace of mind and allowed us to approach the exhibition with confidence. Communication and on-site support during the event were also prompt and attentive, and we were impressed by how thoroughly even the smallest details were handled.
The visitors exceeded our expectations in both quantity and quality, providing us with valuable opportunities for business discussions. We were also satisfied with the venue location, visitor flow, and overall event management, and felt that the results provided sufficient value for the cost of exhibiting.
We would definitely consider exhibiting again at the next VIMF.
ORION Machinery
Overall, we were satisfied with the support provided both during the preparation period and throughout the exhibition.
The venue was lively, and we felt that the overall atmosphere was very positive. The return on investment from exhibiting also met our initial expectations.
In terms of visitors, we had the impression that there were more Chinese-affiliated companies than Japanese-affiliated companies. The number of visitors we experienced appeared to be higher than at exhibitions held in major cities, and overall, we were satisfied with the event. We are also positively considering exhibiting again next year.
If we were to suggest areas for improvement, we would appreciate securing a booth location with greater visitor traffic and further improvements to the venue facilities.
We understand that VIMF’s concept is to bring the exhibition directly to industrial areas, which means that the event is held in locations where dedicated exhibition venues may not be available. However, for future editions, we would welcome further improvements to the facilities, particularly in areas such as the number of restrooms and the leveling of floor surfaces and steps.
TSUBAKI Group
We were satisfied with the pre-event preparation and overall support provided for our participation. In particular, we greatly appreciated the efforts to secure an available booth space for us, which was very helpful.
On the other hand, we felt that both the number and quality of visitors were somewhat lower than expected. Overall, we would describe our experience during the exhibition and the level of on-site support as satisfactory, but fairly average.
While we felt that the results were reasonable in relation to the exhibition cost, we hope that future editions will attract a larger number of visitors as well as a higher-quality audience that more closely matches exhibitors’ target customers.
